To my Adaptive Adventurer followers. Here is my latest travel information to Moab Utah.

When you enter the entrance is clean modern, and the company uses real tile, wood granite, and so on. The staff is very helpful and kind and willing to make your stay the best it can be. The HooDoo team went above and beyond their job description. They remember your name, and make sure you feel like family. There are no words to express how great my stay was at the HooDoo. The HooDoo gets an A+++ There landscape in front of the building is well taken care of, so you can use your cane, walker, or wheelchair. HooDoo also has a great entrance with a ADA door open button.

Now on to the room.

The door into the room is pretty heavy, so bring some muscle, and the hallway I was in had carpet in the hallway. The door to the room has two peep holes. one lower so we can see if we are in our wheelchairs. The room is huge place to put my walker and wheelchair, and still have a lot of room. The bed was so comfy that if I did not have a job to do I would have stayed in that bed all day. The restroom was modern and tiled, and the toilet is raised higher for people with hip issues. The shower has a fold down shower chair which is nice. The reason being you do not have to bring your own shower chair. Now since the ADA room I requested was a roll in shower it had no lip to stop the water. An add that I found great was the shower curtain had magnets to hold them together, to help as much as it can to stop the water from flowing onto the rest of the bathroom. They have handles for the toilet if you need a hand up. This is a great place to rest your head, and as I said earlier they made me feel like family.

Adaptive Adventurer side note: Be careful when taking and getting out of the shower it can get pretty wet and if your using a walker make sure to full pressure on your equipment, as you glide across the tile floor. Or you could use your nice fluffy towel(Which they have in the room) to wipe up the water. Also for safety reason the shower head doesn't come out of the holder The shower head however tilts up and down. It also slides up and down as well as side to side.
